National Clinical Trials Network Groups

In the United States, publicly funded cancer research is led by the National Cancer Institute (NCI) and its National Clinical Trials Network (NCTN). The NCTN includes five organizations dedicated to conducting cancer research and clinical trials, along with a sixth partner group in Canada. Four of the US-based organizations focus on adult cancers, while the fifth leads research in pediatric cancer.

NCTN clinical trials have played a vital role in advancing cancer care, helping to establish new standards of treatment, evaluate promising therapies, and improve the quality of life for people with cancer.
